For Current Clients
In general, a 1099 may be required when your business pays $600 or more during the year to certain vendors, contractors, individuals, LLCs, or partnerships for services, rent, or other reportable payments. A signed W-9 helps confirm the vendor information needed for filing.
At year-end, we help organize the filing process by providing:
- A reminder that 1099 filing is coming up.
- A clear list of the information we need.
- Relevant deadlines and timing for review.
Once the information is complete, we prepare the 1099s, send copies for your review, and submit the filings after you confirm the details are accurate.
